Afternoon Child Care Provider--High School Students Encouraged to Apply

Duties: - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care - Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs - Supervise children during playtime, meals, and rest periods - Assist with personal hygiene tasks, such as diapering and potty training - Monitor children's behavior and intervene when necessary to ensure a positive and respectful atmosphere - Maintain a clean and organized childcare space -General cleaning duties Skills: - Experience working with children in a childcare setting - Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with children, parents, and colleagues -Ability to manage a classroom of children effectively Desired Qualities: -Promptness -Reliability -Dependability Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
