Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)
Welcome and greet guests.
Make all our guests feel comfortable and let them know you’re there to personally take care of them.
Learn the names and personally recognize our regular guests.
Interact with our guests and answer questions about our beverages, food and other restaurant functions and services.
Understand the various beverage and food products, be able to fill and deliver orders, which may include specialty drinks and food items, use the appropriate garnishes and service ware.
Take beverage and occasional food orders from guests and accurately enter orders in our point-of-sale system.
Deliver beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely manner.
Accurately tender the guest’s bill, providing the correct amount of change.
Thank guests for their order and wish them good luck.
Monitor guest for additional beverage service.
Ensure guests are satisfied food/beverage and service.
Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
Clear guest’s area of used service ware as allowed throughout the duration of their gaming experience.
Follow and practice all alcohol beverage policies and regulation.
Monitor alcohol consumption of guests, request cut offs when appropriate for the protection and enjoyment of all guests.
Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment and established guidelines (i.
e.
cleaning and stocking).
Accurately maintain a cash bank through correct pricing of products and cash handling, while following cash handling procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized guest self-service areas and Team Member work area.
Assist guests and Team Members as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the beverage operation as directed by the manager or immediate supervisor.
Is compliant with all local, state and federal regulations and Tribal MICS.
Follow all company and departmental policies and procedures.
Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues to F&B Manager/Supervisor.
Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
Participates in all other duties as requested by the F&B Director, Manager or Supervisor.
Job Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Basic computer experience is preferred.
Accurate cash handling experience and good mathematical skills are required.
Must have or be willing to obtain food safety and sanitation certificate.
Ability to uphold complete confidentiality is required.
Must display professionalism when representing PCCH.
Must work well with people; possess excellent customer service skills and sensitivity to diverse cultures.
Must possess strong oral and written communications skills.
Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in stressful situations is necessary.
Must be dependable.
