Provide safe, tasteful and appealing food to our guests by utilizing proper preparation methods.
Prepare a variety of meat, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking.
Understand and comply consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen rules, policies and procedures.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities Follow HACCP guidelines regarding rotation and temperature control of food products.
Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment.
Understand and comply consistently with our standard portion sizes, recipes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work station area including but not limited to tables, shelves, walls, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, convection oven, flat top range, refrigeration equipment, and floors.
Use correct and safe operations of kitchen equipment, provide continuous cleaning and sanitization of same equipment.
Assist on an as-needed basis with loading, running, and unloading dishwasher.
Assist with kitchen deliveries.
Assist in opening/closing procedures for the kitchen.
Promptly report equipment and food quality problems to the Manager/Supervisor.
Provide friendly and efficient Team Member and guest service in the kitchen and food service counters.
Assist guests and Team Members as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant/banquet as directed by the manager or immediate supervisor.
Be compliant with all local, state and federal regulations and Tribal MICS.
Attend all scheduled Team Member meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.
Participate in all other duties requested by the F&B Director, Manager or Supervisor.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Training and/or experience in food service is preferred.
Must have or be willing to obtain food safety and sanitation certificate.
Accurate cash handling experience and good mathematical skills are required.
Basic computer experience is preferred.
Ability to uphold complete confidentiality is required.
Must display professionalism when representing PCCH.
Must work well with people; possess excellent customer service skills and sensitivity to diverse cultures.
Must possess strong verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in stressful situations is necessary.
