About the Opportunity The Dietary Supervisor provides overall management of the dining services team, including ensuring satisfactory staffing levels, staff education and training, and timely staff evaluations.
s responsible for kitchen and dining area sanitation, productivity, safety, and quality controls.
Other relevant duties may be required or assigned by management.
Critical Success Factors: Ability to work effectively with executive director/administrator, facility management team, dining department staff and staff from all other departments.
Ability to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to communicate with staff and residents in a positive professional manner.
Knowledge of inventory control and ordering procedures.
Superior customer service.
Willing to be part of a team, and teach team concepts to staff.
Minimum Requirements Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in all phases of food service preparation and administration, and supervising and training employees.
High School diploma or GED.
ServSafe certification, or equivalent.
Plumbing, including but not limited to design/mechanics of commodes, plumbing fixtures, drains, discharge lines, hot water heaters, dishwashers, ice machines, etc.
