Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY
The Research Coordination Supervisor supports leadership with day-to-day supervisory duties.
The Research Coordination Supervisor participates in the development and implementation of hiring and mentoring staff, performance improvement, quality assurance, monitoring and auditing and compliance initiatives.
The Research Coordination Supervisor is required to deliver established goals, and utilize sound judgement, knowledge and skills in the area of expertise while maintaining expected quality standards.
The individual who holds this position exemplifies the Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) mission, vision, and values and acts in accordance with MCHS policies and procedures.
Hybrid position with onsite work required in Eau Claire, Marshfield, Rice Lake, Stevens Point, or Weston.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Minimum Required: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a physical, biological, social, spatial science, or related field.
Preferred/Optional: Master’s degree in a physical, biological, social, spatial science or related field.
EXPERIENCE Minimum Required: One year experience in a medical or research field.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks; strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills required.
Preferred/Optional: Three years’ experience in a medical or research field and supervisor or management experience.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc.

Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
Minimum Required: Human Subjects Protection and Good Clinical Practice training through the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) within 90 days of hire Certified Clinical Research Coordinator Certification through Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) or through Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA) within 6 months of qualification.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within 90 days of hire.
Other Certifications/Licenses as listed per the department the position resides in.
Preferred/Optional: Certified Clinical Research Coordinator Certification through Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) or through Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA) at time of hire.
CITI Course in The Protection of Human Research Subjects certification through Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) at time of hire.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at hire.
