Description:
As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational activities and the development and direction of the staff at the airport location.
Under the direction of the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive team environment, assisting rental customers, and aid in the development of sales and customer service skills for our agents.
The ideal candidate for this position enjoys working independently, has a passion for sales and customer service, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Specific Job Duties:
Oversee the day-to-day operational activities of the airport location
Encourage a positive team environment
Assist in hiring and training employees
Effectively communicate with customers, responding to all customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and friendly manner both on the telephone and in person
Ensure a positive customer experience, while also promoting our additional products and services
Assist in the cleaning (interior and exterior) of rental vehicles
Work a variety of scheduled shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends

Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Previous supervisory experience required
Must be able to perform data entry and computer entry tasks
Capacity to learn extensive training material and apply daily on the job
Effective verbal communication skills to communicate with customers, co-workers, and management
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be physically able to assist our customers at our rental counter, which will include standing for extended periods of time
Must be able to clean and service vehicles outdoors in various weather conditions
Ability to work flexible schedules which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
Able to handle confidential information
Valid driver’s license with good driving record
