Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital in Stevens Point, WI is seeking a Business Health Administrative Specialist to join our team!
Description: The Aspirus Business Health Administrative Specialist provides numerous and varied support services within the Aspirus Business Health Department in the areas of front desk receptionist, medical records, data entry, provide client service, and staff assistance as needed.
Responsible to obtain information necessary to maintain complete, accurate department records and data.
Follows office policy and provides and promotes a professional and pleasant atmosphere for patients and staff.
Hours: 1.
0 FTE, 80 hours every two weeks, M-F 8-5.
Experience/Qualifications:
Knowledge of computer systems and applications normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma.
Associate Degree in Health or Business Administration is preferred.
Three years of office management experience.
One of those years in an occupational health setting preferred.
Additional, appropriate education may be considered with less than three years of office management experience.
Certification in DOT drug screen collection and breath alcohol testing required within 3 months of hire date as needed per location assignment.
Knowledge of healthcare administration principles, organizational policies and procedures, along with proven ability to apply policy and principles to resolve everyday issues and deal with a variety of situations.
