A TE Operations Support is responsible for various types of work preparation for operations to manufacture the product to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Quality Control - Inspection of finished trucks for accurate build/defects.
Make hoses, prepare other custom parts as needed for the production department.
Fabrication of parts needed.
Operate appropriate equipment for specified work areas within your operations.
Knowledgeable in all areas of work environment and team.
Troubleshoot issues that arise with truck builds and confers with supervisors and production personnel to resolve problems.
Equipment Repair.
Warranty repairs.
Ensures all equipment is properly set up and used safely and that all safety devices are in use.
Perform R & D requests as needed.
Independently operates all production equipment as appropriate for area.
Perform preventative maintenance and repair on equipment as required.
Build Plow's - Truckside
Wash & ready trucks for delivery.
Conduct monthly inspections i.
e.
fire, waste, sprinkler, safety.
Waste cleanup as needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and assembly techniques.
Working knowledge of fixturing and equipment.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 45 lbs.

Ability to work from various squatting, kneeling, or bending positions.
Ability to work with arms above head.
Ability to work from crawling or lying positions.
Ability to safely use hand, air, pneumatic, and power tools, and machinery.
Ability to understand and operate all safety equipment in the area.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Ability to read, write, comprehend, and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
Knowledge of basic geometry.
