The Role
Strive to provide the best customer experience every day
Lead team of Directional Drillers and Locators
Dig trenches and fill ditches
Place cable in trenches and through conduit
Prepare underground system plan for repairs, including trenches, pot holing, backfill
Repair or replacement of conduits, poles, risers or pedestals
Install rigid and semi rigid coaxial cable; pole line construction and underground in conduit or direct buried
Install equipment used to house CATV equipment ground plant, or place rod or wire to serve as ground for future installs
Complete all projects with safety as the #1 priority, ensuring compliance with internal safety standards and all governmental orders
Work in a variety of environments; indoors, outdoors, tight spaces, trenches, elevated
Navigate a variety of terrains managing tools and equipment
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license, CDL required
Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)
Ability to travel daily and open to a variety of schedules
Excellent customer service, time management, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to learn and operate testing equipment and software/programs
Ability to utilize hand tools, identify wire size/color and accurately utilize measuring devices
Ability to carry, climb, operate, and work upon an extension ladder (approximately 28 feet high and 75 pounds)
Ability to complete work outdoors, in tight spaces and elevated by bending, reaching, twisting, climbing, and working while standing up to 70% of the time, near electricity and powerlines at times
Ability to safely work and navigate various terrains, managing equipment, safety equipment and tools
A body weight of no more than 275 pounds to perform ladder work safely.
