Key Responsibilities:
Accurately document and record information
Maintain performance numbers while producing good quality product
Facilitate press make-ready, run and wash-up
Effectively troubleshoot print quality, register and technical specification issues
Set up and operating the press in an effective and efficient manner
Monitor equipment and the printing process to ensure quality and adherence to food safety standards
Demonstrates timely and effective problem solving skills
Provides data to Prism in support of the manufacturing, sales, and materials information systems
Demonstrates effective interaction skills to support team activities related to effective process decisions and goals
Demonstrates knowledge and ability to perform quality control tests to ensure customer specifications
Ensures that finished product is produced according to customer specifications
Minimum Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older
High School Diploma or G.
E.
D.
equivalent
Ability to work any shift and overtime as needed
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot problems
Must have competencies/skills in all areas of teamwork, flexibility, stress tolerance, integrity, initiative, problem solving, cross functional awareness, drive, and concern for excellence
Printing/Production experience is preferred
Ability to accurately read a tape measure
Ability to be self-directed and multitask
Timeliness
Must be able to read and follow directions in English
Prior Press Operator or assistant experience is preferred
Prior Manufacturing experience preferred
Prior flexographic printing experience preferred
Computer Skills in Internet Explorer, Access and ability to learn PRISM software
Physical Requirements;
o Must be able to successfully complete a color blind test
o Must be able to lift 50 pounds
o Must be able to climb, kneel, bend, squat
o Must be able to grasp, push, pull and have fine motor skills
o Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to pass a physical, drug screen, and background check
