Position Overview:
As a Personal Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR), you will be the face of our
company, responsible for providing top-notch customer service to our clients.
You will serve as a
liaison between our clients and our insurance products, assisting with policy inquiries, claims
processing, policy changes, and more.
Your ability to communicate effectively and resolve client
concerns promptly will be crucial to our continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by
providing exceptional customer service, promptly responding to inquiries, and addressing their
insurance needs.
Policy Assistance: Assist clients in understanding their insurance policies, coverage options,
and premium payments.
Review and recommend appropriate changes to policies when
necessary.
Claims Support: Guide clients through the claims process, including initial reporting,
documentation submission, and follow-up to ensure timely claims resolution.
Policy Renewals: Proactively communicate with clients about upcoming policy renewals,
review coverage options, and provide renewal quotes.
New Business: Assist clients in obtaining new insurance policies, including gathering
necessary information, providing quotes, and completing applications.
Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional insurance products that align with
clients' needs, such as auto, home, renters, and umbrella policies.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all customer
interactions and documentation.
Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, policy
documents, and correspondence in the company's database.
Problem Solving: Address and resolve client concerns, complaints, or issues in a professional
and efficient manner.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or insurance-related
certifications are a plus.
Previous experience in personal lines insurance, customer service, or a related field
preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Proficient in computer applications, including insurance management software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
